W&S Waste Management Ltd is proud to announce a major power upgrade at our state-of-the-art materials recycling facility in Poole.
This significant enhancement reinforces our commitment to sustainability by improving our ability to process waste upholstered domestic furniture into high-quality refuse-derived fuel (RDF). The RDF is then supplied to energy-from-waste facilities across the UK, contributing to cleaner energy solutions.
Upgrading to the Most Powerful M&J P250 Pre-Shredder
As part of our continuous investment in cutting-edge waste processing technology, we have successfully upgraded our M&J P250 pre-shredder, manufactured by M&J Recycling, to its most powerful configuration.
Key improvements include:
- Enhanced Hydraulic System – Upgraded from a twin 125kW setup to a twin 200kW system, making it the highest-performing P250 model available.
- High-Flow Hydraulic Motors – Allowing more material to be processed, more efficiently, ensuring our facility operates at peak performance.
These upgrades allow us to handle bulky furniture waste more efficiently while further supporting the circular economy by diverting waste from landfills and converting it into valuable energy resources.
Seamless Installation by Industry Leaders
The installation of the upgraded system was expertly executed by Core Industrial Solutions Ltd, a leading UK-based industrial equipment service provider. The heavy lifting required for this complex upgrade was managed with precision by Marsh Plant, ensuring the project was completed safely and on schedule.
