Recycle Week 2023
This week is Recycle Week 2023, and we are proud to be supporting the campaign at W&S Recycling.
As an established recycling company in the UK, we are excited to join the nation in celebrating and promoting the recycling efforts of businesses and individuals.
The event, organised by Recycle Now, a brand from the Waste and Resources Action Program (aka WRAP), will be a week where retailers, brands, waste management companies (such as ourselves), trade associations, governments and the media join forces to motivate the public to recycle more and raise awareness of what products can and can't be recycled.
The theme this year is The Big Recycling Hunt, which will focus on "missed captures", those items in the home that are commonly mistaken for general waste rather than recycling; for example, aerosols, food tins, plastic cleaning and toiletry bottles, pots, tubs and trays.

Recycle Now has released a resource pack for businesses, local authorities and other organisations to use. The pack shares details on the campaign and has all the assets you need to get involved and show your support for the campaign. Download your pack here.

Join the campaign this year with the following:
- • Using #RecycleWeek on social media
- • Follow Recycle Now on social media and share their content.
- • Post content on social media around the theme "The Big Recycling Hunt" and "missed captures – assets are available in the downloadable resource pack.
- • Embed the popular Recycling Locator from Recycle Now onto your website
- • Light up buildings, offices, local town halls and other iconic buildings green to show support during Recycle Week
- • Sign up to their newsletter to receive the latest campaign updates
