W+S Recycling sponsors David Pipe Racehorse Trainer

07 April 2017

The team at W+S are very proud to sponsor David Pipe - one of  Britain's leading racehorse trainers - in the 170th Grand National this year.

In preparation for this year's Grand National on Saturday 8th April, David Pipe has trained four horses under our sponsorship. These horses include:

Doctor Harper
Finished in 7th place at the Kim Muir Handicap Chase in Cheltenham this year, showing promise for a high position in this year's Grand National.

La Vaticane
Finished in 5th place at the Grand Sefton and boasts sound jumping ability that demonstrates potential for this young mare.

Ballynagour
Although preparations haven't run smoothly as of late, previous finishing positions show promise for a potential turnaround at the big race this year. Finished in 2nd place as the 2015 Betfred Bowl Chase.

Vieux Lion Rouge
Finished 7th in the 2016 race and has since won two races - the Becher Chase and the Grand National trial at Haydock.

All of the jockey's riding horses trained by Pipe will be wearing our logo - So make sure you keep your eyes peeled! It is estimated that approximately ten million people will tune in to watch the race - will you be one of them?!
